PROFILE

We are an architectural practice in central Dublin, a Practice Member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland. We work across Ireland - from Letterkenny to Wexford - with clients from Ireland and abroad. Our office is in a Grade I refurbished Protected Structure in Dublin's Georgian core.

The firm was established in 1981 by its two principals, David McHugh and Eoin O Cofaigh. Initially a partnership, the firm is now incorporated. Auditor references, and current insurance confirmations and tax clearance certificate are available on request.

PRACTICE STRENGTHS

Since inception, we have developed considerable expertise in residential, educational and commercial buildings. We have expertise in environmental design and research and in architectural conservation: David McHugh holds specialist postgraduate qualifications in urban and building conservation, and we are an RIAI Grade I Accredited Conservation Practice.  Arising from Eoin O Cofaigh's Presidency of the RIAI and his membership of the Government Building Regulations Advisory Body, we have particular strengths in the areas of research, publication, and expert advocacy.
